Detail of primary transformer (supply side): open wye (and open) connection with grounded neutral. 120/240 v supply. three lines (a; b; c) and neutral (n); but only two transformers are used. secondary (load side): open delta connection (open δ). generates 240 v voltages between lines. there is no neutral on the secondary.
