The lawson - westen house sits on an 80 x 180 suburban site on the west side of los angeles. the house is located on the north side of the plot, leaving the south and west sides as an l-shaped garden. the clients had a very particular building program, a deep reflection of the way they live their day-to-day lives, and the way the housing of their substantial art collection inter-relates with the resolution of their practical concerns
