The field is divided into yards. each yard is equivalent to a small dash on the side of the field. the solid lines of the field indicate the distance of 5 yards from the last line. the field has 100 “playable” yards and 10 for each end zone. the end zone is the place on the field where the ball must enter (with player dominance) for a team to score points. there is an end zone at each end of the field.
