Koshino house - tadao ando dwg

Contains the floors (first, second and roof floor) of the koshino house located in ashiya; kobe. project by the architect tadao andō, which makes use of concrete; the simplicity of the basic forms and the treatment of light. the house is organized in two parallel bodies; linked by an underground corridor; that define a central patio. the shorter body contains a double-height living room; while the longer wing houses a series of bedrooms. the crescent-shaped study; adjacent to the living room; it was added later; in marked compositional contrast with the pre-existing bodies.
